In July 2010 a number of Latin American Architects met in The Hague. We live and work in The Netherlands already for several years now , we are from different countries in Latin America. We share language and somehow history and culture. We also share the experience of being immigrants in the Netherlands in all its aspects : work, housing, language, culture , climate, food, etc.
In 2013 we registered the associations by the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam. During the last years more colleagues have joined the association.
The association aims to:
- Strengthening the professional position of Latin American Architects in the Netherlands * .
- Promote the integration of Latin American architecture within Dutch society, especially in the global professional area (work) in the Netherlands.
- It is a platform for exchange of information, knowledge and ideas for all professionals interested in architecture , urbanism and landscape of Latin America.
- Generate professional and academic ties between the Netherlands and Latin America .
- Contributions to the architectural debate in the Netherlands.
- A social meeting place for members.
* Architects in a broad sense, including all related disciplines , such as urban planning, landscape and interior design . Other disciplines such as industrial and graphic design are more than welcome.
The association aims to achieve its objectives through four points:
- Work : Connections contact , legal advice work, log architect , CAO , etc.
- Academic Activities : Contact with academia, research , publications , library, etc.
- Professional activities : in-service training , courses , trips , conferences , training , seminars , symposia , workshops and training .
- Social activities : informal meetings , trips, celebrations, etc.

En julio de 2010 nos reunimos un número de arquitectos Latinoamericanos en La Haya. Vivimos y trabajamos en los Países Bajos ya hace varios años, somos de diferentes países de América Latina. Compartimos idioma y, de alguna manera, la historia y la cultura. También compartimos la experiencia de ser inmigrantes en los Países Bajos en todos sus aspectos: el trabajo, la vivienda, el idioma, la cultura, el clima, la comida, etc
En estos últimos años mas colegas se han adherido a la asociación. En 2013 finalmente nos inscribimos en la Cámara de Comercio en Amsterdam y registramos la asociación.
La asociación tiene como objetivos:
- Fortalecimiento de la posición profesional de los Arquitectos Latinoamericanos en los Países Bajos *.
- Promover la integración de arquitectura Latino Americana dentro de la sociedad holandesa, y especialmente en el área profesional (trabajo) mundial en los Países Bajos.
- Es un lugar para el intercambio de información e ideas para todos los profesionales interesados en la arquitectura, urbanismo y paisajismo Latino Americano.
- Generar vínculos profesionales y académicos entre los Países Bajos y Latino America.
- Contribuciones al debate arquitectónico en los Países Bajos.
- Un lugar de encuentro social para sus miembros.
* Arquitectos es una definición de un sentido amplio, incluye todas las disciplinas relacionadas, como la ordenación del territorio, el paisajista y arquitectura de interiores. Otras disciplinas como diseñadores industriales y gráficos son mas que bienvenidos.
La asociación pretende lograr sus objetivos mediante cuatro puntos:
- Trabajo: Conexiones de contactos, consejo legal de obra, registro de arquitecto, CAO, etc
- Actividades académicas: El contacto con los centros académicos, de investigación, publicaciones, biblioteca, etc
- Actividades profesionales: formación en el servicio, cursos, excursiones, conferencias, capacitación, seminarios, simposios, formación y talleres.
- Actividades sociales: reuniones informales, excursiones, celebraciones, etc

In Juli 2010 kwamen een aantal Latijns Amerikaanse architecten in Den Haag bij elkaar. Wij woonden in Nederland en kwamen uit verschillende Latijns Amerikaanse landen. Wij delen taal en, in sommige opzichten, geschiedenis en cultuur. Wij delen ook de ervaring om migranten in Nederland te zijn met al zijn kanten: werk, wonen, taal, enz.
In deze laatste jaren zijn er mensen gegaan gekomen, maar we blijven vergaderen. In 2013 zijn wij uiteindelijk naar de Kamer van Koophandel gegaan om de vereniging in te schrijven.
De vereniging heeft ten doel:
- Het versterken van de professionele positie van Latijns-Amerikaanse architecten* in Nederland.
- Het bevorderen van de integratie van Latijns-Amerikaanse architecten in de Nederlandse maatschappij, en met name in de professionele (werk) wereld in Nederland.
- Het zijn een trefpunt voor het wisselen van informatie en ideën voor alle professionelen met interesse in Latijns-Amerikaanse architectuur en stedenbouw.
- Het creëren van professionele en academische banden tussen NL en LA.
- Het bijdragen aan de architectuur debat in Nederland.
- Het zijn een sociale ontmoetingsplek voor haar leden.
* het word architecten heeft hier een breed betekenis meegerekend alle verwante ruimtelijk disciplines als stedenbouw, landschaap architectuur en interieur architectuur. Ook andere disciplines als Industriele en grafische ontwerpers zijn welkom.
De vereniging tracht dit doel onder meer te bereiken door het werken aan vier punten:
- Werk: Networking, architectenwet, architectenregister, CAO, enz.
- Academische activiteiten: contact met academische centra, onderzoeken, publicaties, bibliotheek, enz.
- Professionele activiteiten: bij- en nascholing, cursussen, excursies, lezingen, opleidingen, seminar, symposium, training of workshops.
- Sociale activiteiten: informele ontmoetingen, excursies, uitingen, feesten, enz.
